Manhattan High School Summer School

High School Summer School for the 2025-2026 school year will run from June 8 through June 26.  Classes will be offered through the Edgenuity online platform, giving students the flexibility to complete coursework either on campus or from home.  Summer school is primarily intended for students who need credit recovery and will not include Financial Literacy.  Parent Square will be used for all communication.

Pre-enrollment and iPad Check-Out

To get started, please complete the online form and contact your grade-level counselor to determine which course(s) you need. Our plan is to enroll students in classes as they sign up for Summer School, so students will be able to continue to work on Edgenuity classes until Summer School starts. Students enrolled in Summer School should keep their school issued IPad. If a student needs to checkout an IPad  for Summer School, iPad check-out will be available in the Senior Office, D004, from May 27-29, 2026, between 8:00 a.m. and 12:00 noon.

Attendance

We strongly encourage students to attend in person to benefit from a structured learning environment and teacher support.  However, if you choose to complete your courses from home, please notify the school. Students enrolled in summer school will keep their school-issued IPad for Summer School.  Students are encouraged to work on Edgenuity classes from home until Summer School starts on June 8. Class sessions will be held from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon, Monday through Friday, and are open to current 9th-12th grade students.

Final Tests

All Final tests will be locked.  Please contact Mr. Robison to have tests unlocked.

Students will have the opportunity to ride the bus to and from summer school.  Designated pickup and drop-off locations will be communicated prior to the start of summer school.
