New Employee Orientation

New Employee Orientation

*New Employee Orientation is by appointment only.*

Before starting employment (including substitute teaching), all new hires are required to complete an online application and attend Orientation. Human Resources will conduct New Employee Orientation on Mondays at 2:00 p.m. and Thursdays at 8:30 a.m. Orientation is by appointment only. We will begin promptly in the Human Resource Department at Robinson Education Center, 2031 Poyntz Avenue, Room 204. During the orientation you will be provided with information and an opportunity to ask questions.  Paperwork will be completed and collected and/or online submissions confirmed.   If all paperwork including appropriate ID’s and the Health certificate/TB screening are complete you will be photographed for an identification badge. Please allow at least an hour to an hour and a half to complete this entire process.

When you are contacted about attending orientation or return your Letter of Intent (Licensed/Certified hires) you will be emailed a checklist of tasks to complete.  These tasks should be completed prior to orientation if possible. All forms are also available in paper format in the Human Resources Office. Completing the tasks prior to orientation will expedite the hiring process and get you on the job sooner. Certified/Licensed hires for a new school year, should complete all tasks prior to new teacher orientation.

All new hires will be asked to bring acceptable document(s) for identification and work authorization.
